Released in the late 1980s, the 16710 continued the legacy of the original GMT design with improved mechanics and a slimmer profile. Its signature black-and-red aluminum bezel insert earned the nickname “Coke,” symbolizing its iconic dual-tone aesthetic beloved by collectors worldwide.
The watch’s 40 mm Oyster case is crafted from solid stainless steel, paired with a sapphire crystal and a screw-down Triplock crown for superior durability and water resistance.
